Singer Zubeen Garg Death Case: The death of famous singer Zubeen Garg has become a topic of discussion across the country and new details related to this case are coming out every day. Now there has been a new twist in the singer’s death case. His friend Shekhar Jyoti Goswami has made serious allegations and said that Zubeen’s manager Siddharth Sharma and festival organizer Shyamkanu Mahant killed him by poisoning him and then hatched a conspiracy to make it look like an accident.
In his statement recorded as a witness, Goswami said that manager Sharma’s behavior was suspicious before Zubeen’s death. An FIR has already been registered against the manager. Serious non-bailable charges like murder and criminal conspiracy have been filed against him.
Goswami said that Sharma was staying with him at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Singapore. During the yacht trip, the manager forcibly took control of the yacht from the captain, causing it to rock dangerously in the sea, putting everyone’s lives at risk.
Goswami claimed that Sharma had asked Tanmay Phukan, a member of the Assam Association (Singapore), to arrange drinks. He said that when Zubin was having difficulty breathing and was in danger of drowning, the manager was shouting to let him go.
Goswami said that Zubin was a trained swimmer and had himself taught Sharma and him to swim. Therefore, it is impossible that he died by drowning. He alleged that Sharma and the Mahant poisoned Zubin and chose Singapore to hide the conspiracy.
Goswami further said that when Zubin was foaming from his mouth and nose, Sharma attributed it to acid reflux and asked others not to worry. But by not calling for immediate medical help, he worsened the situation, which led to Zubin’s early death.
However, during interrogation, Sharma and Mahant have denied these allegations. But investigating agencies say that witness statements, financial transactions and other evidence raise serious doubts about Sharma’s role.
