US Defense Secretary’s plane makes emergency landing in England after windshield cracks

London: US Defense Secretary Pat Hegseth’s plane had to make an emergency landing in England. Hegseth was on his way to Washington from a NATO defense ministers’ meeting in Brussels to discuss Ukraine on Wednesday when the plane carrying him and those with him had to make an emergency landing in England after the windshield cracked. However, Hegseth and other passengers, pilots and other crew members were unharmed.

Giving this information on social media, Pentagon spokesperson Chin Parnell said that the landing was done as per standard procedure and all passengers including the Defense Minister were safe.

Parnell further said that at the high-level meeting of NATO countries in Brussels, Russia was given a strict warning about the war in Ukraine and further said that if Russia does not stop the aggression, NATO countries including the US will impose strict sanctions on it and impose strictest tariffs on its goods.
