US President Donald Trump’s announcement of the ‘Golden Dome’ plan has put many countries in a state of tension. North Korea and China have called America’s ‘Golden Dome Missile Shield Plan’ very dangerous and a threat of nuclear war in space. Last week, Trump announced many details and funding for this plan. During this, he said, ‘For us, this plan is very important for the success and survival of the country.’ Trump says, “America will deploy the next-generation technology Golden Dome missile shield on land, sea and space. Its technology will include sensors and interceptors.” After Trump’s announcement, North Korea’s reaction has come to light. North Korea’s state news agency Korean Central News Agency said, “The Foreign Ministry has described Golden Dome as a threat to the entire world, because this plan could trigger a nuclear war in space.”

The North Korean memorandum alleges that, “The United States is trying to deploy troops in outer space, turn it into a potential nuclear war zone, and incite concerns among nuclear-armed countries. This US plan will create a global race to build nuclear and space weapons.” China has also opposed the US Golden Dome missile shield project and called the project a threat to global security. Earlier, Russia objected to the US plan, saying, ‘Donald Trump needed to talk to Moscow about the plan.’ When Trump announced the plan, Russia objected and said, ‘This plan will turn space into a nuclear war zone.’ However, Russia later reversed its statement and said, ‘This matter is a matter of US sovereignty.’
