The water level of the Arabian Sea is rising due to global warming : WMO’s report

The new report of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) has created a stir. This report says that the sea level in the coastal areas of India is increasing at an alarming rate. According to which the sea level is rising much faster than before. The report also says that the rapid warming in Asia is increasing, due to which the weather is changing and people are suffering its consequences. Let us tell you that this situation can have a very bad impact on the coastal areas and the low-lying areas can be flooded with sea water. According to the latest report of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), the sea level is rising by 3.7 to 3.8 millimeters per year. Now this has increased to 4.00 millimeters per year. This increase is being seen within a radius of 50 kilometers from the coast. Global warming is happening due to human activities, due to which the coastal area is increasing so rapidly. In fact, burning fossil fuels releases greenhouse gases. These gases are melting ice sheets and glaciers unexpectedly. Due to which the sea level is rising. This is a big threat to the people living in these coastal areas and small islands. The southern part of India is also being affected by this.
