Hollywood stuntwoman Davina LaBella has made serious allegations against film director and actor Kevin Costner. According to a report by Variety, it has been said that during the shooting of the film Horizon-2, Davina LaBella was forced to shoot a rape scene without any protocol and script. Davina filed a complaint, stating that the incident took place on May 2, 2023, on the Utah set, in which she was wronged. According to the outlet’s report, Davina said that director Costner wanted to do rape scenes without any script in the film Horizon-2. Which he was previously going to film with Ella Hunt, who played the role of Juliet in the film. However, Ella refused to do the scene.

According to a Variety report, Davina said that after Ella Hunt refused to do the scene, Costner cast stuntwoman Davina and filmed the scene. Davina further said, I felt unsafe that day. I was betrayed by a system that promised safety and professionalism. What happened to me broke my trust and forever changed the way I work in this industry. In addition, the lawsuit report also said that after the incident, Davina LaBella also resorted to therapy to deal with these bad effects, not only that, Davina’s lawyer said that this case is a clear example of male-dominated and vulgar Hollywood movie making.

After Davina’s allegations, Costner’s lawyer Marty Singer also issued a statement saying that LaBella was explained the scene and that she had also given her consent to her stunt coordinator after rehearsal. This shows that she was ready to film the scene. According to Singer, LaBella had dinner with the stunt coordinators that evening and was reportedly in a good mood and did not complain during that time.
