In the last few days, Kumar Sanu’s ex-wife Rita Bhattacharya has made several claims about the singer in various podcasts. She said that Kumar Sanu and his sisters tortured her. She also claimed that Kumar Sanu’s sister fed her something to get her an abortion. Kumar Sanu is now angry with these allegations and has sent a legal notice against his ex-wife.
According to media reports, Kumar Sanu has sent a legal notice against his wife. Kumar Sanu’s lawyer Sana Rais Khan said, ‘For more than 40 years, Kumar Sanu has poured his soul into music and has earned love and respect all over the world. Painful lies may create a momentary debate, but they cannot erase the legacy of an artist who has given generations a lifetime of music and memories.”
Sana further said, “We will ensure that attempts to defame him are met with the full force of the law to protect his dignity, legacy and family honour. No person or media platform has the right to tarnish the honour of a father or exploit a family for sensational programmes.”
Rita had earlier claimed that when she was pregnant, Kumar Sanu dragged her to court for divorce. He refused to give Rita food and water. Rita accused Kumar Sanu’s sisters of torturing her.
