Shraddha Kapoor will be seen in the role of Maharashtra’s Lavani dancer Vithabai Narayan Gaonkar with director Laxman Utekar. The shooting of this film has also begun. The title of the film is said to be ‘Itha’. Vithabai Narayan Gaonkar impressed everyone with her dance at a time when public performance was considered very difficult for women.
She was also given the title of Tamasha Samragnya and Tamasha Maharani.
The film will weave the story of her struggle and success. This is the first time that Shraddha is doing a biopic. However, no information has been released about the film’s release date yet.
