Elon Musk has once again opposed Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill related to taxes and spending. Musk called the bill a bill that will ‘bankrupt America’ and appealed to his more than 200 million followers to call the MPs and say ‘KILL the BILL’. Musk has also been consistently opposing the bill. He has called the bill a bill that will increase the budget deficit. Elon Musk has been the head of the government department ‘Department of Government Efficiency’ (DOGE), although now this department has been abolished. Therefore, Musk is now gathering all his strength against this bill. He said, ‘This big spending bill is destroying America. Enough is enough. This bill will increase the US debt by another 5 trillion dollars and will quickly lead this country to a large deficit. Therefore, it should be repealed before this happens.’ However, some top Republican leaders have dismissed Elon Musk’s criticism. Senator Kevin Cramer said, “I don’t think many senators are interested in what Elon says. It’s funny, but we are serious policymakers, we have to deal with reality.”
It is noteworthy that this bill includes the termination of some subsidies that benefit Tesla. Due to which Musk’s opposition has intensified. He described Trump’s bill as full of scams and said, ‘I’m sorry, but I can’t stand it anymore. This expensive, dirty bill is shameful. Those who voted for it should be ashamed of their actions.’
