Zubeen Garg death case: The death of famous singer Zubeen Garg has become a topic of discussion across the country and new details related to this case are coming out every day. Meanwhile, a new twist has come to the investigation when two members of Zubeen Garg’s band, musician Shekhar Goswami and singer Amrit Pritam, were arrested. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) and Crime Investigation Department (CID) of Assam Police are investigating the case in depth.
In this case, Shyamkanu Mahant, the organizer of the Northeast India Festival, and Zubeen’s long-time manager Siddharth Sharma were recently arrested. Both were brought to Guwahati from outside the state this week and are now in police custody. Both are being questioned, and the police are investigating their role in Zubeen Garg’s death.
Musician Shekhar Goswami and singer Amrit Pritam, who are associated with Zubin’s band, have been arrested by the police. They are being taken to the office of the District and Sessions Judge (CJM), where they are likely to be taken into police custody for questioning. It is said that they were present at the yacht party in Singapore on September 19, where Zubin died.
It is noteworthy that the police have found evidence against them, due to which an investigation has been started against them. It is said that in a video, Shekhar Goswami is seen swimming very close to Zubin at the time of the incident. Amrit has recorded the entire incident on his mobile phone. The Special Investigation Team of Assam Police has said, ‘We are questioning each of them in detail.’
It is noteworthy that Zubin Garg’s death was initially said to have occurred during scuba diving, but several suspicious aspects have come to light during the investigation. On this side, Zubin’s family has also raised many questions. The singer’s wife Garima Garg, while talking to the media, said, ‘Why was Zubin not taken care of when his manager and others were present, and Zubin was very tired and may have been forced to do scuba diving!’
