Akshay Kumar has shared a shocking incident in the Cyber Awareness October 2025 program. He said that his daughter plays online games. A fellow player asked for her nude photos. Akshay expressed concern that in this way children can even commit suicide by becoming victims of blackmail. He demanded that children be made aware about this in schools. Let us tell you that Akshay Kumar’s daughter is 13 years old.
Speaking in detail at the event, Akshay said, ‘I want to tell you a small incident that happened in my house a few months ago. My daughter was playing a video game. In which there are some video games that you can play with strangers. While you are playing the game, a message comes from the front saying, ‘Oh, great, very nice.’ Suddenly, a person asked, ‘Where are you from?’ My daughter replied, ‘Mumbai.’ After that, everything was going normally. The daughter played the game well. Then messages started coming with a lot of respect, humility and politeness, so it felt that whoever was playing in front of her was a very respectable person. Then another message came in which it was asked, ‘Are you a man or a woman?’ She replied, ‘Woman.’ Even after that, everything continued normally. Then after some time, he sent a message saying, ‘Can you send me your nude photo?’
Akshay further says, ‘My daughter immediately stopped everything. The daughter told my wife all this. It was good that she went directly to my wife. This is a part of cyber crime, where children are misled, and then money is asked from them. Because they have all the information, so everything else happens in it, in some cases children even commit suicide. This is how children are lured through online games.’
Akshay Kumar, while talking about this incident in the program, further said, ‘The Chief Minister is also present in this program, I would like to request him that we teach history, geography and mathematics in schools. It is very important that our children learn this. But our children should have a period on cyber crime in class 7, 8 and 9, because these cases are increasing faster than street crime.’
