Khalistani group threatens Diljit Dosanjh, singer gives cash reply

Diljit Dosanjh has been embroiled in controversies recently. A Khalistani group threatened him for showing respect to veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan. The incident took place after the promotional clip of the game show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ season 17 was released. A day before the episode aired yesterday on October 31, the banned Khalistani group Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) targeted Dosanjh. In the video, he was seen touching Amitabh Bachchan’s feet.

SFJ chief Gurpatwant Singh Pannu warned singer Diljit Dosanjh. Along with this, there was a threat to stop his concert in Australia on November 1, amidst this controversy, Diljit Dosanjh shared a cryptic post on Instagram, it is said that this is his response. Without directly commenting on the threats, he wrote that his participation in KBC was motivated by social concerns rather than self-promotion.

Diljit Dosanjh wrote in Punjabi on his Instagram story, ‘I did not go there to promote any film or song. I went there for the floods in Punjab… so that it can be discussed at the national level… and people can donate.’ Dosanjh’s performance on Amitabh Bachchan’s show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 17’ was to draw attention to flood relief in Punjab.

Khalistani terrorist organization Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) threatened to stop Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh’s concert in Australia on November 1. This day was declared as ‘Sikh Genocide Remembrance Day’ by Akal Takht Saheb. Diljit Dosanjh started the program by touching Amitabh Bachchan’s feet. Diljit Dosanjh participated in Amitabh Bachchan’s game show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ season 17. In the promo of the show, he was seen touching Bachchan’s feet and hugging him.

According to the terrorist organization Khalistani, Amitabh Bachchan is the Bollywood actor who incited the Indian mob on October 31, 1984 with the slogan ‘Khoon ka badla khoon’, due to which more than 30,000 Sikh men, women and children were killed across India.

SFJ General Counsel Gurpatwant Singh Pannu said, ‘Amitabh Bachchan whose words incited the massacre. Diljit Dosanjh has insulted every victim, every widow and every orphan of the 1984 Sikh genocide by touching their feet. This is not ignorance but betrayal. The ashes of Sikhs burnt alive, women raped and children slaughtered are still not cold. Any Sikh who listens to his conscience cannot protest or celebrate November 1, the day of remembrance.
