It is not right to put the entire responsibility for peace on Hamas : Turkish President Erdogan

  • Tayyip Erdogan said: For the success of peace efforts in Gaza, Israel must first stop its attacks

US President Donald Trump is making full efforts to end the Gaza war that has been going on for the last two years. For that, he has also made a 20-point plan. On which most countries have also agreed. Talks are going on between Israel and Hamas in Egypt. At that time, Turkish President Erdogan has again targeted Israel. He said: Despite Trump’s peace plan, Israel is becoming the main obstacle in establishing peace. If peace is to be established, Israel should stop the attacks.

Erdogan further said that it is not right to put the burden of establishing peace in Gaza only on Hamas and Palestine, nor is it realistic. Israel must stop the attacks for the peace efforts to succeed.

In a conversation with his party’s MPs, Erdogan said: ‘Turkish officials are also participating in the ongoing Gaza peace talks in Egypt. They are making an important contribution. In fact, peace is not a single-winged bird. It is not right to put the entire burden of peace on Hamas and the Palestinians, there is no realistic perspective in it.’ He called Hamas a revolutionary group and said that they are fighting for their rights (the right to live in Gaza).

In fact, this war began on October 7, 2003. In which Hamas attacked southern Israel and killed about 1,200 innocent civilians. 251 people were kidnapped. After this, Israel launched attacks on Hamas, which have been so fierce that other experts, including experts appointed by the United Nations, have called it genocide
