A fierce war has been going on between Israel and Iran for the last four days. Both countries are carrying out air strikes on each other. The war has started again over the nuclear treaty. Giving a major update on it, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baghai has said that the Iranian parliament is preparing a bill to withdraw from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. Iran opposes weapons of mass destruction, we are not in favor of making nuclear weapons. This decision of Iran may increase concerns in other countries of the world including America. Because, if Iran withdraws from the treaty, then the way may be paved for it to make nuclear weapons. Iran had promised not to build weapons when it signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). However, reports that it has started uranium enrichment have raised concerns in countries including Israel and the US, and some countries suspect that Iran is building nuclear weapons. In such a situation, after officially withdrawing from the treaty, the path to building nuclear weapons may be paved for Iran.
Iranian President Masoud Pajhwok said that Iran has no intention of developing nuclear weapons. But it will follow its right to nuclear energy and research. He also reiterated Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s religious edict against weapons of mass destruction. The situation of war between Iran and Israel is continuously deteriorating. Along with Iran’s military bases, nuclear sites are also being targeted by Israel. On the other hand, Iran is also attacking Israel’s defense system in Tel Aviv.
