US President Donald Trump, once again raising the issue of the Nobel Prize and considering the ongoing tension between Afghanistan and Pakistan, stated that I am good at resolving wars. I am not asking for the Nobel Prize for my peace efforts.
Trump, boasting about his record of mediating conflicts, said that my administration has resolved many global disputes. The Gaza war is over. During my tenure as president, I have brought peace in a total of ‘eight wars’ with the ceasefire between Israel-Gaza, I have heard that there is a war going on between Pakistan and Afghanistan. I will now have to try to stop it. Because I am good at resolving wars. But I will never ask for the Nobel Prize for my peace efforts. He further added that his visit to Israel and Egypt will focus on providing strong support for the ceasefire after brokering the ceasefire, advancing reconstruction efforts in Gaza, and building on the fragile momentum towards regional peace.
Notably, Trump made this statement while taking note of the clashes between Pakistan and Afghanistan on Saturday. On Saturday, Afghanistan said that it had attacked in response to a Pakistani attack. In which 58 Pakistani soldiers were killed. While the Pakistani army claimed that 23 were injured in this matter.
Trump further said that my peace efforts have saved millions of lives. It is an honor for me to do this. I saved millions of lives. The Nobel Committee gave the award considering the year 2024, but there are those who say that you can make an exception. Because a lot of things happened in 2025 that were perfect and great. But I did not do this for the Nobel. I did it to save lives.
Trump further boasted that I had stopped some wars only with the help of tariffs. Like, India-Pakistan. The wars between these two countries were stopped not because of diplomatic pressure but because of economic pressure. If you want to fight a war, you have nuclear weapons. But I took the path of high tariffs – 100 percent, 150 percent, and 200 percent. I am solving big issues in 24 hours by imposing tariffs. If there were no tariffs, the war could not have been stopped.
