Yemen’s Houthi rebels have launched a missile attack on a ship sailing in the Red Sea, sinking the Magic Seas, a bulk carrier ship, like the Titanic. The ship was owned by the United Nations and flew the flag of Liberia. The rebels attacked the ship with drones, missiles, rocket launchers and small arms, setting it on fire and causing a horrific explosion, before the ship broke into two pieces and sank, a video of which is also going viral on social media. The Houthi rebels have shared a video of the attack. In the video, the rebels are seen launching missiles at the ship and then a horrific explosion. Due to the explosion, a horrific fire is seen inside the ship and plumes of smoke are also seen flying. Finally, the ship is seen sinking into the sea. The European Union naval mission ‘Operation Espides’ confirmed on Tuesday that ‘Houthi rebels have attacked the ship with a missile, killing three people and injuring two. After the attack, 22 crew members jumped into the water to save their lives from the ship, who have been rescued safely. The armed forces responded, but were unable to prevent the damage.’
