- Terrorist groups in Pakistan fight among themselves
- Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) had strongly advised Hafiz Saeed to postpone the rally keeping in mind the threat from TTP
Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) chief Hafiz Saeed had planned to take out a rally from Lahore to Islamabad but that rally has been postponed. Actually, that rally was supposed to start from Sunday, November 2. But it has been postponed for an indefinite period and the date when it will be held again has not been announced.
Pakistan’s dangerous military intelligence agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) had received solid information that another (terrorist) organization operating in Pakistan, ‘Tehreek-e-Taliban-e-Pakistan’ (TTP), was afraid that Hafiz Saeed and his terrorist group (LeT) (Lashkar-e-Taiba) would take the flag of ‘struggle’ from them. Therefore, the TTP will make all efforts to break the LeT rally, which also includes direct action (attacks).
The concrete reality is that various terrorist groups in Pakistan are constantly fighting to dominate each other.
In fact, Hafiz Saeed had decided to organize this rally to pay tribute to those killed due to ‘Operation Sindoor’ by calling them ‘martyrs’. But it was suddenly stopped. It is not yet known when it will be held.
Pakistan is under international pressure to crack down on terrorists. Many intellectuals in the country are also putting pressure on it. They say that the federal government of Pakistan must stop the funding given to terrorist organizations, but nothing will happen. Right now, there is an internal war going on between terrorist groups in Pakistan.
