'Good Sex': Natalie Portman Leads Cast Joined by Meg Ryan and Rashida Jones 'Good Sex': Natalie Portman Leads Cast Joined by Meg Ryan and Rashida Jones

Lena Dunham is directing the romantic comedy Good Sex for Netflix, and Rashida Jones and Meg Ryan have joined the growing cast.

In the film, which Dunham also created, the pair joins Natalie Portman, Mark Ruffalo, and Tucker Pillsbury, better known as singer-songwriter Role Model.

Sex is around Ally (Portman), a realistic couples therapist who cautiously re-enters the New York dating scene after ten years in a failing relationship and approaching her fortieth birthday. Ally, however, gets more than she expected when she meets two guys, one in his twenties (Pillsbury) and one in his fifties (Ruffalo), who demonstrate to her that there is no predetermined recipe for satisfying sex, according to Netflix’s logline. Ryan will portray Portman’s free-spirited mentor and therapist, offering counsel that probably befits a legendary character from a romantic comedy.

Jones will portray Portman’s raucous best friend, who recently went through a divorce.
