In this regard, US President Donald Trump on Monday (June 23) expressed his desire to reduce the price of crude oil. He fears that the ongoing war in the Middle East may increase the price of crude oil. Donald Trump posted on social media platform Truth and wrote, ‘Everyone keep the price of crude oil low, I’m watching. You are playing into the hands of the enemy, don’t do this.’ In addition, Trump made another post addressing the US Department of Energy. In which he said ‘Drill, baby, drill’ and added that ‘I mean right now.’
