A fierce clash has taken place between the Pakistani army and militants on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. Eight infiltrators have been killed in an indiscriminate exchange of fire. The infiltrators were trying to infiltrate into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from Kunar, who have been killed by the Pakistani army. Pakistani intelligence agencies received intelligence that some infiltrators were planning to infiltrate into Mamunj taluka of Bajaur district and that these people belonged to ‘Fitna al-Khawarij’ i.e. the banned organization ‘Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan’. After that, the Pakistani army immediately started action.
There was a fierce exchange of fire between the Pakistani army and the militants, in which a child was injured and was immediately given first aid at the Larkholoj Hospital. Later, the child’s condition deteriorated and he was taken to the District Headquarters Hospital.
On the other hand, the media cell of the Pakistani army, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), has not released any official information so far, while local people have confirmed that there has been a clash in the area for several hours. People said that the sound of explosions and firing was heard far and wide.
