Kuldeep Yadav has been released from the Indian team for the ongoing T20I series against Australia. BCCI has issued a statement regarding the release of Kuldeep Yadav from the Team India team.
According to the statement, after returning to the country, Kuldeep will play for Team India-A in the second match of the two-match unofficial Test match series against South Africa-A team. The Indian team will play a Test series against South Africa at home this month.
It is worth noting that the Indian team will play a two-Test series against South Africa at home from November 14. The BCCI is focusing on its preparation. Keeping this in mind, Kuldeep has been called home early to get enough time to prepare for the Test series.
The India-A team is being captained by star wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant. The Indian team won the first match by 3 wickets. On the other hand, now in the second match, besides Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammad Siraj and KL Rahul will also be seen playing in Team India’s playing-11.
