Actress and video jockey Anusha Dandekar has been in the entertainment industry for more than 20 years. During this time, she has worked in many shows, films and reality shows. Currently, Anusha is in the news for her new podcast, in which she is talking candidly about her life. Recently, Anusha appeared on Priyanka Chopra’s mother Madhu Chopra’s podcast, where she shared an interesting story related to her childhood. Anusha said that when she was 14 years old, she had to be admitted to the hospital due to a mistake.
When Madhu Chopra asked Anusha what her worst habit was, she said with a smile, ‘Diet Coke is probably my worst habit so far. The freedom and trust given to her by her parents has kept her away from wrongdoings.’ Anusha said that at the age of 14, she had drunk a whole bottle of liquor, due to which she had to be taken to the hospital.
During a conversation with Madhu Chopra, Anusha shared a memory from her childhood. When Madhu asked if she had ever tried liquor? Anusha said, ‘Yes.. and then I reached the hospital. When I was 14, I felt that liquor tasted like passion fruit and I liked it a lot, so I drank the whole bottle. After that I had to be admitted to the hospital. The nurse asked my father not to get angry, the nurse told my father that he should not drink liquor anymore.’
Anusha said, ‘This childhood incident left such a deep impression on my mind that I have never touched liquor. I also stay away from smoking.’ Explaining the reason for this, she said that her father used to smoke and he has asthma, so she prefers to stay away from smoking too.
