25 years after his debut, Abhishek Bachchan wins ‘Best Actor’ : Aamir Khan’s ‘Lapta Ladies’ dominates

The evening of ’70th Filmfare Awards 2025′ was full of Bollywood stars. Like last year, the ceremony was organized in Gujarat. Many Bollywood stars including Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan made the evening in Ahmedabad special.

In this program, some films released in 2024 were honored with Filmfare Awards. The entire evening of October 11 was dominated by the film produced by Aamir Khan, ‘Lapta Ladies’, which has won about 13 awards in various categories. Moreover, Amitabh Bachchan’s son Abhishek Bachchan has received his first ‘Best Actor’ Filmfare Award after 25 years of his debut in the Bollywood industry. He received this award for Shoojit Sircar’s ‘I Want to Talk’. The actor had earlier won as Best Supporting Actor.

Apart from Abhishek, Kartik Aaryan also received his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor. He received this award for the film ‘Chandu Champion’. He had earlier won the award for ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ in 2023. Alia Bhatt received the Best Actress award for ‘Jigra’.
