Actor Priyanshu alias Babu Ravi Singh Chhetri has been brutally murdered. He gained popularity by acting in the film ‘Jhund’ with Amitabh Bachchan in the year 2022. According to the information received, Priyanshu was tied with wire and brutally beaten, his throat was cut and his face was crushed with a stone. Also, the reason for the murder has come to light that mutual enmity was the reason.
According to a PTI report, there was a fight between 21-year-old Priyanshu and his friend in Nagpur in the early morning of Wednesday, October 8. After this fight, the friend killed Priyanshu. Police have arrested the accused friend Dhruv Lal Bahadur Sahu (20). The incident took place in the Jaripatka police station area of Nagpur.
According to a police officer, Priyanshu and the accused Dhruv Sahu were friends and used to drink alcohol together. After midnight on Tuesday, they went to an empty house in Jaripatka area to drink alcohol on Dhruv’s motorcycle. There, the two got into an argument. Initially, Dhruv threatened Priyanshu and slept. But, suddenly, he tied Priyanshu with a wire, then attacked him with a sharp weapon. Dhruv cut Priyanshu’s throat and crushed his face with a stone.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police immediately reached the spot and seized the body of Priyanshu Chhetri. After that, the body was sent for postmortem and an investigation into the matter was started. Police said that fearing danger, Dhruv Sahu allegedly tied Priyanshu Chhetri with a wire and attacked him with a sharp weapon.
Locals saw Priyanshu in an injured condition and informed the police. When the police reached the spot, Priyanshu Chhetri was half-naked and tied with plastic wire. He was then taken to Mayo Hospital, where doctors declared him dead during treatment.
